We get ever closer to hitting submit on the Lottery (NLHF) grant application; but in early December some gremlins crept in so in the end we were not ready (as we’d hoped) by Christmas.

However, there’s a meeting tonight (Monday 12th January) of the friends group where we hope to see both the PCC and the friends group agree to contribute to the project. This will enable us to demonstrate to the NLHF that we have clear support from both groups.

After that – the ECH Secretary and I will likely have some final rewrites before the Committee and Ely Diocesan experts give us a yay/nay.

As soon as it’s yay, then after the PCC agrees the proposal, it’ll be submitted to the NLHF.

At that point the authors have a few weeks of rest before we either get a go ahead (with loads more work!); or feedback on what needs to change.
