The project has proceeded well since the beginning of the year, the committee has taken action and at the time of writing (early November 2025) we are pleased to report the following:

• The faculty (obtaining permission from the church authorities to effect repairs to the church) has been approved – this means we can address the damp and water problems.
• As of a few days ago, Heritage England published their new At Risk Register, and All Saints’ was an entry. WHilst this is always bad news, it does mean funding requests for repairs will carry more weight.
• We have made our initial enquiry to the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) about making a grant application and received positive feedback
• We are currently writing a full application for grant funding to the NLHF for a grant of just under £250,000 for the most essential repairs to the fabric of the church.
